We offer re-sizing, cleaning and repair services for all James Newman jewellery purchased from our Jewellery Quarter store or via our website.
To ensure your jewellery gives you problem free enjoyment, we recommend that you have it professionally cleaned every 2-3 years with us.
Most of these services are usually available while you wait, though re-sizing and repairs can require that you leave your jewellery with us, as these can take up to 2 weeks. Your first re-size is usually free up to three months after purchase (excluding silver rings). Subsequent re-sizings range in cost and can vary depending on complexity of ring design & time needed. We do advise you contact us prior to booking this appointment so we can provide further insight into pricing & lead times. Please note, you may have to leave your jewellery with us for up to 2 weeks, we endeavour to get pieces re-sized same-day however, as a small team, sometimes this is not possible. You can book this appointment prior to contacting us, but we do advise you contact us prior to your appointment with details of the repair so we can give you an accurate quotation when you arrive and advise on lead-times. Jewellery Cleaning. We offer complimentary cleaning on all James Newman Jewellery pieces for life. You’re welcome to bring your jewellery into our Jewellery Quarter store at any time for a professional clean, usually carried out while you wait, so you don’t need to leave your piece with us. On busier days, there may be a short wait, but we’ll always aim to return your jewellery to you sparkling as quickly as possible. Resizing Pricing
If this is your first re-size (within 3 months of your purchase) re-sizing is usually free of charge. If not, the cost of ring sizing depends on several key factors. Whether the ring needs to be made larger or smaller, what it is made from (gold, silver, platinum, or another type of metal) and the complexity of the design (includes gemstone settings or has a particularly complex design). Below is rough guide to our re-sizing pricing, these prices do range depending on the work needed, we are happy to advise on pricing. Please be advised Eternity Rings and mixed-metal rings re-sizing are only available on a quotation basis. All costs are subject to change.
